Panels at Anime Weekend Atlanta 2019

For the tenth consecutive year in a row, Propeller Anime will be hosting panels at Anime Weekend Atlanta. It's an amazing weekend for fans who are passionate about anime and Japanese pop culture. It's also going to be the most lit Halloween party, taking place October 31st to November 3rd.

Here is our panel schedule:

The Modern Renaissance of Lupin the 3rd
Friday, November 1st, 2:00pm to 3:00pm
Panel Room CGC 102

Lupin the 3rd has been a beloved anime and manga series for decades, but in the 2010s, the franchise has really hit it's highest points. With slick art, clever storytelling, and bold direction, we break down what may be the best era of Lupin.

It's MANIME X! Ten Years of Manly Anime (18+)
Saturday, November 2nd, 8:00pm to 9:30pm
Kennesaw Ballroom

It's been ten strong years of MANIME. We all became better for it. Headbutts, beef jerky, and the manliest anime ever got us this far, and we do it once more time. But this year, we also pay tribute to the legendary Kazuo Koike, Be there for one big manly roar! (And many more.)

The End of Anime Nite Orlando. What's Next?

This month marked six years of showing anime at Bikkuri Lounge, and Propeller Anime has showed fans great anime of different genres and eras for over 12 years.

Last night, we showed Akira, an essential anime classic that takes place in 2019, and Redline, a film that many consider to be the turning point from anime would exit the dark ages. This massive double-feature was not just a way to celebrate six years with Bikkuri Lounge, but a way to end Anime Nite Orlando.
